Join us for our next series of Winter Clinics — scheduled on January 24 (hitting, throwing and fielding), and 31 (pitching and catching), at the gymnasium at 5951 College Avenue, Oakland.  Clinics are held from 5:30 – 6 p.m. for girls ages 5-8; 6-7 p.m. for girls 9-11, and 7-8 p.m. for girls aged 11-14.  Clinics are free, although a $5 donation to cover the cost of the gymnasium is welcome!  Check out our Calendar for further details.

Teams are currently being formed, and all players should hear from their 2012 coaches by no later than the week of February 7, 2012.  Practices will begin the week of February 13, and Opening Day is scheduled for Saturday, March 3, 2012.  Please join us for the wonderful Opening Day festivities and Carnival — this year to include new games, new activities, and a wonderful softball skills presentation by OGSL alumni and coaches.

The Oakland Girls Softball League (OGSL) mission is to provide organized fast pitch softball to girls between the ages of 5-14 in the Oakland, CA community with the overall goal of promoting sportsmanship, developing individual skills, encouraging friendship, and providing leadership opportunities via a fun and positive athletic experience. Self-funded through member registration and sponsorship donations, OGSL is a volunteer run, non-profit, equal opportunity organization affiliated with the Amateur Softball Association (ASA).
